En el coraz\u00f3n de Traslasierra, el bar de Mario Gim\u00e9nez congrega a parroquianos que se acercan por un verm\u00fa o un vaso de vino. Los turistas llegan para conocer un aut\u00e9ntico bar de pueblo.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Hace 35 a\u00f1os que Mario Gim\u00e9nez (61 a\u00f1os) atiende la pulper\u00eda de Mario (o el bar de Mario), un bar de pueblo en frente de la plaza de San Javier en Traslasierra. Se hizo cargo del local cuando su madre decidi\u00f3 dejar de atenderlo,  cuando iniciaban los a\u00f1os 1990. Mario es un \u201cpersonaje\u201d de San Javier y Yacanto, ese encantador \u201cpueblo campo\u201d en el precioso corredor serrano, ubicado a unos 200 kil\u00f3metros de la ciudad de C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El bar es un establecimiento sencillo que re\u00fane a los parroquianos alrededor de una mesa con un verm\u00fa, como el \u201cs\u00faper Mario\u201d -un c\u00f3ctel a base de fernet y Cinzano- o un \u201cvaso de vino\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todos conocen a Mario, que cada d\u00eda llega al negocio desde Luyaba, donde vive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el boliche prepara s\u00e1ndwiches de milanesa y all\u00ed mismo ha montado hace tiempo una forrajer\u00eda, a demanda de los gauchos a caballo. Cuenta que trabaja de lunes a lunes. \u201cGracias a Dios, nos va bien\u201d, dice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hist\u00f3ricamente el bar fue un reducto de hombres y de vinos. Pero hoy los turistas -que cada vez m\u00e1s buscan experiencias aut\u00e9nticas- se acercan a conocer un t\u00edpico bar serrano. Mario atiende a los clientes, habla con todos y hasta se sienta a la mesa con quienes tengan ganas de conversar.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es devoto del santo Cura Brochero que, cree, fue quien lo salv\u00f3 por milagro de una enfermedad grave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl serrano es p\u00edcaro, es gente buena\u201d, asegura. Es gente que sabe contar historias. Una dice que en una oportunidad (no hay nombres en este relato ni referencias temporales) en San Javier y Yacanto (\u00bfen el bar de Mario?), los gobernadores de San Luis y de C\u00f3rdoba jugaron al truco. La partida la gan\u00f3 el cordob\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
