La Red Mundial de Turismo Religioso (RMTR) presentar\u00e1 el 21 de enero, en la Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR 2026), que se celebrar\u00e1 en Madrid, el proyecto piloto de su Sello de Calidad para Destinos de Turismo Religioso y Peregrinaci\u00f3n, una iniciativa de alcance internacional orientada a reconocer, ordenar y proyectar territorios con un destacado patrimonio religioso, cultural y espiritual. Este lanzamiento supone un hito relevante en la consolidaci\u00f3n de un modelo tur\u00edstico especializado que apuesta por la autenticidad, la sostenibilidad y el respeto a los valores identitarios de los destinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En este contexto, Tenerife Nordeste ha sido elegido como el primer territorio del mundo en iniciar el proceso de implementaci\u00f3n de este sello, convirti\u00e9ndose en referente global para el desarrollo de esta certificaci\u00f3n. Los municipios que integran esta comarca, articulados bajo la marca Tenerife Nordeste y coordinados a trav\u00e9s del CIT Nordeste de Tenerife, comenzar\u00e1n de forma conjunta y simult\u00e1nea el proceso de certificaci\u00f3n, sentando un precedente por su enfoque supramunicipal y colaborativo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forman parte de este proyecto piloto San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna, Tegueste, Tacoronte, El Sauzal, La Matanza de Acentejo, La Victoria de Acentejo, Santa \u00darsula y El Rosario, todos ellos con una profunda tradici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica y religiosa estrechamente vinculada a la identidad del territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Sello de Calidad para Destinos de Turismo Religioso y Peregrinaci\u00f3n nace como una herramienta estrat\u00e9gica destinada a dotar de estructura, rigor y proyecci\u00f3n internacional a un segmento tur\u00edstico en crecimiento. Impulsado por la Red Mundial de Turismo Religioso, programa del Tourism and Society Think Tank, este sistema de certificaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a los destinos ordenar su patrimonio religioso y espiritual, cualificar su oferta tur\u00edstica y posicionarse en los mercados internacionales como territorios comprometidos con la preservaci\u00f3n cultural, la cohesi\u00f3n social y los principios de la Agenda 2030 y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La directora de la Red Mundial de Turismo Religioso en Espa\u00f1a, Pilar Vald\u00e9s, ha se\u00f1alado que la creaci\u00f3n de este sello \u201cofrece a los territorios una herramienta clave para transformar su patrimonio religioso en un producto tur\u00edstico con identidad, garantizando el respeto a las tradiciones locales y aportando visibilidad, prestigio y diferenciaci\u00f3n en un contexto tur\u00edstico cada vez m\u00e1s competitivo\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proceso de certificaci\u00f3n contempla un trabajo t\u00e9cnico y participativo que incluye el inventario y diagn\u00f3stico del patrimonio religioso y cultural, la evaluaci\u00f3n de la idoneidad de los recursos como productos tur\u00edsticos, la implicaci\u00f3n de los agentes clave del territorio y la definici\u00f3n de rutas, lugares y experiencias sacras. El objetivo es que estas propuestas puedan incorporarse de forma estructurada a la oferta tur\u00edstica del Nordeste de Tenerife a partir de la pr\u00f3xima temporada de invierno, alineadas con la identidad del destino y con est\u00e1ndares internacionales de calidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde la Red Mundial de Turismo Religioso se destaca que estos municipios canarios representan ejemplos de destinos donde el fervor local y las tradiciones religiosas se mantienen vivas y arraigadas, y que ahora se ponen en valor de forma responsable para enriquecer la experiencia de los visitantes que buscan en Tenerife algo m\u00e1s que sol y playa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
