La competencia internacional de aguas abiertas se disputar\u00e1 el 7 y 8 de marzo en el Valle de Calamuchita y ser\u00e1 la primera fecha del calendario mundial.

Oceanman Argentina 2026, la prestigiosa competencia internacional de aguas abiertas que tendr\u00e1 como escenario el lago de Embalse los d\u00edas 7 y 8 de marzo fue presentada en la capital de C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La prueba, que tambi\u00e9n se extender\u00e1 a las costas de Villa Rumipal y Villa del Dique, reunir\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 1.500 nadadores provenientes de m\u00e1s de 25 pa\u00edses y contar\u00e1 con representaci\u00f3n argentina de todas las provincias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la presentaci\u00f3n se destac\u00f3 que la edici\u00f3n 2026 marcar\u00e1 tres hitos: ser\u00e1 la primera fecha del calendario internacional, incluir\u00e1 el primer UltraOceanman que se realizar\u00e1 en Am\u00e9rica y representar\u00e1 la cuarta edici\u00f3n consecutiva en C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las distancias ir\u00e1n desde los 500 metros (Oceankids) hasta los 10 kil\u00f3metros del Oceanman profesional, incluyendo tambi\u00e9n las modalidades Half (5 km) y Sprint (2 km), en un entorno natural que conjuga lago, playas y sierras como escenario competitivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impacto deportivo y tur\u00edstico<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Director de la Agencia C\u00f3rdoba Deportes, Mariano Recalde, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el evento \u201cconsolida a C\u00f3rdoba como sede de grandes competencias internacionales y demuestra el trabajo sostenido para posicionar a la provincia en el calendario deportivo mundial\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde la organizaci\u00f3n, Roberto M\u00e1rquez destac\u00f3 el crecimiento sostenido de la sede cordobesa y afirm\u00f3 que Embalse \u201cya es un punto de referencia dentro del circuito internacional\u201d, al tiempo que celebr\u00f3 la convocatoria r\u00e9cord prevista para esta edici\u00f3n. En tanto, Tony Garc\u00eda, Project Manager del circuito, subray\u00f3 que el operativo de seguridad contar\u00e1 con m\u00e1s de 150 personas trabajando en el agua y un despliegue coordinado con fuerzas especializadas, garantizando est\u00e1ndares internacionales para competidores y p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trabajo conjunto en el Valle<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El intendente de Embalse, Mario Rivarola, valor\u00f3 el acompa\u00f1amiento provincial y el trabajo articulado con los municipios vecinos, destacando que el evento \u201cimpulsa el desarrollo regional y fortalece el perfil tur\u00edstico del Valle de Calamuchita\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la misma l\u00ednea, los intendentes de Villa Rumipal y Villa del Dique coincidieron en que la competencia posiciona a la regi\u00f3n en el escenario internacional y confirma su capacidad organizativa para eventos de gran escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
